Item Restricted Effectiveness Cognitive Behavioral Program to Reduce some of Psychological Disorders Among Saudi Dependents Psychoactive Substances(Saudi Digital Library, 2025) Hassan, Ali; الحسيني, محمدThe study aimed to examine the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral program in reducing levels of aggressive behavior and depression among Saudi addicts of narcotic substances, especially cannabis. The study sample (n = 10) consisted of individuals dependent on narcotic substances, particularly cannabis, who attended the Irada Complex and Mental Health Center in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Participants were selected based on their high scores on the Aggressive Behavior Scale and the Depression Scale. The researcher prepared the study tools, including the Aggressive Behavior Scale, the Depression Scale, and a cognitive-behavioral therapy program. The results indicated that the cognitive-behavioral program was effective in reducing aggressive behavior and depression levels among the participants, highlighting the importance of therapeutic programs based on cognitive-behavioral principles in treating psychological disorders associated with substance dependence.18 0
