Saudis’ Perspectives on Domestic Travel

Abstract

This study is important because it will provide the Saudi government with a clear description of how Saudis view tourism, what influences them when deciding to undertake domestic tourism, and the demographic differences in Saudis’ perception of domestic tourism. The study will also highlight any other significant factors which impact on tourists’ attitudes and motives, and this in turn will underscore potential obstacles which could derail the Saudi government’s aim to boost the country’s tourism sector.
