Abstract

Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia's two major locations with intensive garbage generation have unique physicochemical traits. Each year, the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh, gets a substantial quantity of dust. The climate of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is scorching and desert-like. One of the objectives of the study was to examine how solid waste affected the environmental conditions in Saudi Arabia. According to the purpose of this study, the researchers was to examine how climatic conditions and sustainability have evolved in Saudi Arabia financial capital, Jeddah and Riyadh, as a result of populations growth expansion and waste output over the previous decade. The purpose of the correlational researchs was to determine whether or not the target group was able to predict and relate the variables that were being investigated. The SWMC and also the Nature, Agriculture, as well as Water Ministries were contacted to do the sampling. Riyadh and Jeddah are selected for the study since they're the largest populated, economic, and industrial cities in Saudi Arabia, have the greatest DGP levels, therefore creating huge volumes of landfill garbage every year. Municipal administrations, particularly those in developing nations, have a difficult burden in managing solid wastes, according to the research. MSW collection services in Saudi Arabia are experiencing an increasing number of issues as a result of rising birth rates, general lack of knowledge, and a changing lifestyles of the pollution caused by solid wastes in the country. As a result, the new agreement (MoU) between SWMC and other waste management firms focuses on building corporate sustainability regulations compared to global guiding principles by using solid wastes, which will be a crucial stage forward through all aspects of Saudi Arabia's sustainability.
