Samples of both alloys have been annealed at a range of temperatures to produce micro-structure with variety of grain sizes. Creep measure ments have been made at room temp, thesis included: 1. The effect of heat-treatment on the transient and steady stat creep under different applied stresses and at room temp. 2. The effect of cu-addition on the creep characteristics of on-9%% Zn alloy.إن إضافة النحاس إلى سبيكة القصدير - زنك يعمل على زيادة معدل تكوين الحبيبات عند المعالجات الحرارية وتثبيتها بعد إخمادها بالماء ووجود المركب البيني CuSn يعمل على التقليل من تأثير النحاس مما ينتج حبيبات أكبر والذي يتفق مع صور الماسح الالكتروني الذي يوضح كبر حجم الحبيبات بالمقارنة بالسبيكة الخالية من النحاس والتي أدت إلى إعاقة حركة الانخلاعات (الأسطح المخلوعة والأماكن الشاغرة المتكونة [73] مما يؤدي إلى التقليل من معدل الزحف وبالتالي يزيد من صلابة المادة وهذا متمشيا مع النتائج التركيبية للمادة .99ar-SAThesis
