The most important findings: - Tahawi is one of the scholars that joined hadith and jurisprudence sciences. - He is not just a transcriber or an imitator but he presents discussion, justification, and giving preponderance. - He encopassed a great deal of hadith principles in his book. - The hadiths he stated have different authority degrees.The researcher herein presents 73 hadith and prophetic traditions besides 108 approaches, and three legal opinions Imam Malek.There are 58 hadiths considered acceptaple and the rest considered ofweak authority.منهج البحث المنهج الاستقرائي مع استخدام المنهج الاستنباطي. أهداف البحث إبراز شخصية الحافظ أبي جعفر الطحاوي، وبيان مكانته العلمية، ومعرفة قيمة كتابه علميًّا. - دراسة الأحاديث والآثار الواردة في كتابه، ومعرفة درجتها من حيث القبول والرد. تصحيح ما وقع في المتن أو السند، من تحريف أو تصحيف في النسخ المطبوعة. أهم النتائج: تمثلت أبرز النتائج التي توصلت إليها عن الإمام الطحاوي فيما يأتي: الإمام الطحاوي من العلماء الذين جمعوا بين علمي الفقه والحديث. أنه لم يكن مجرد ناقل أو مقلد ؛ بل يناقش، ويعلل، ويرجح. أنه استوعب جملة كبيرة من أحاديث الأحكام في كتابه. أن الأحاديث التي أوردها تتفاوت في درجة الإسناد، وقد بلغ عدد الأحاديث والآثار ثلاثة وسبعين حديثا، تحتوي على مائة وثمانية عشر طريقا، منها ثمانية وخمسون في عداد المقبول، والباقي في عداد الضعيف.400ar-SAThesis
