A number of 84 participants, both males and females, took part in the research, allowing for a balanced look at gender perspectives. Using a combination of questionnaires to assess attitudes and a verbal guise technique to assess how understandable these accents are, the study sheds light on how gender can shape accent preferences and comprehension.
