Low back pain is the most prevalent injury among rowers and is mostly classified as an overuse injury that does not have a clearly distinguishable traumatic cause. Several risk factors are linked to low back pain such as sex, the form of rowing and training hours. However, the impact of COVID-19 upon rowers is not clear.
