In 2016, the country put forth a blueprint vision that focussed towards providing housing to their native citizens. Their major focus was to build houses and allot to every resident of Saudi Arabia. However, despite such plans, there has been limited research done to determine reasons that may leads to result in delay in completing project and cost overrun in such infrastructural projects. The objective of this research is to determine the factors that lead to delay in completion of project and delay caused due to several factors. By the help of this study, the infra companies will be able to determine the need of kind of work generated in Saudi and innovation that could be done and applied for betterment to avoid unnecessary time consumption and wastage of financial resources within any project.
