It explores the perceptions of social workers regarding policy implementation, identifies the major challenges faced by disabled individuals, evaluates the effectiveness of policies in key areas, examines the role of social workers in policy promotion and implementation, explores the barriers to effective policy implementation, and suggests improvements to current policies. The study draws upon a comprehensive review of relevant literature and references a range of studies focused on disability rights, care policies, and the role of social workers in disability advocacy. The findings reveal that social workers generally perceive the implementation of disability rights and care policies in Saudi Arabia positively, indicating progress in promoting inclusion and addressing the needs of disabled individuals. However, challenges such as social acceptance, accessibility, and resource constraints persist, hindering the full realization of disability rights. The effectiveness of current policies varies across key areas, with suggestions for improvement in education, employment, healthcare, and social services. Social workers play a pivotal role in advocating for the rights and well-being of disabled individuals and contribute to policy promotion and implementation. The barriers to effective policy implementation include lack of awareness, societal prejudices, and resource constraints. To enhance the efficiency of disability rights and care policies, the study suggests initiatives such as raising public awareness, promoting inclusive education and employment practices, improving healthcare access and quality, and increasing funding for social services. The insights from social workers have significant implications for policy development and implementation, emphasizing the need for a human rights perspective, comprehensive initiatives, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders. While this study provides valuable insights, limitations include the sole focus on social workers' perspectives and the specific geographic context. Future research could incorporate the voices of disabled individuals and expand the scope to include diverse participant groups. Overall, this study contributes to the existing knowledge on disability rights and care policies, highlighting the importance of continuous efforts to create an inclusive society that upholds the rights and well-being of disabled individuals.135en-USdisabledcare policesrightsEfficiency of Current Rights and Care Policies of Disabled Persons in Saudi Arabia: An Explorative Study from Social Workers’ Viewpoint.Efficiency of Current Rights and Care Policies of Disabled Persons in Saudi Arabia.Thesis
