Such corrections were thought to be one way of removing the long standing discrepancy between s- and p- wave amplitudes obtained in the current-algebra approach to non-leptonic decays of hyperons. Although the calculation of the K* contribution on the quark model is found to be negligible, it gives the right order of magnitude of small observed deviations form the ΔI=1/2 rule. A comparison of the observed deviation from ΔI=1/2 rule for s-wave hyperon decay amplitudes with estimated ones is discussed.enRole of parity violating Hamiltonian in-non-relativistic quark model for non-leptonic hyperon weak transitionsThesis
