The study identifies factors that create a lack social support among international students, who confront acculturation conflicts which lead to depression. Also, they have unique challenges, such as difficulties with English, struggles with academic courses, and a lack of resources, and they face cultural, social, and environmental pressures. They lack the support of a society that they comprehended, and international students who received social support achieved higher grade point averages.
