It does so by examining the relationships and interactions between individuals and their working environment within a group-context. It utilizes Ashforth and Anand’s (2003) normalization of corruption theory in conjunction to expectancy theory in analyzing the dyadic relationships between employee’s perspectives and their environment. This paper takes a multi case study approach by interviewing three participants, one from the U.K and two from Saudi Arabia, who come from different industries. The responses were then analyzed through thematic analysis to be coded by themes. The findings convey that all the recurring themes that were shared by the cases are part of rationalizing and socializing tactics, and bolstered through the use of discourse. This demonstrates that the processes of normalization of corruption can be found in any type of industry. The paper concludes with its limitations and some recommendations for managers.enProcesses within an organization that make an environment susceptible to corrupt activities in the workplace
