Identifying and characterizing emerging leadership strategies in educational settings, investigating the factors influencing their adoption and sustainability, evaluating the effects of emerging leadership strategies on staff performance, and formulating recommendations regarding these strategies are among the specific objectives of this study, which aims to investigate emerging leadership strategies in education and their effects on staff performance. The research design used in this study is qualitative. As a qualitative research method, we employed a thorough literature review. The findings reveal that emerging leadership strategies in educational settings significantly influence staff performance, organizational outcomes, and adaptability in dynamic environments. Educational leaders should receive professional development programs that emphasize communication, emotional intelligence, agility, and strategic planning. The findings suggest that effective educational leadership necessitates a blend of foundational skills like communication, emotional intelligence, and strategic planning, along with adaptive traits like agility and interprofessional diplomacy. Research has shown that adaptive leadership, which focuses on understanding each school's unique needs and implementing effective strategies, enhances school culture, productivity, and achievement over time. Therefore, school leaders should tailor their strategies to their schools' needs and align their actions with the evolving goals of the institution. Based on the findings, transformational, instructional, and moral leadership styles emerged as key approaches to influencing organizational outcomes. Schools should encourage transformational and instructional leadership styles to foster a shared vision, enhance teaching practices, and motivate staff. Based on the findings, participatory and distributed leadership approaches emphasize shared authority, collaboration, and collective decision-making, particularly in digital or hybrid environments (e.g., e-leadership). Educational organizations should adopt participatory and distributed leadership models to empower employees and foster collective decision-making. We should prioritize effective governance structures and equitable resource allocations to support leadership strategies and school performance, given the findings that good governance structures, professional qualifications, resource availability, and technology are critical determinants of effective leadership. Based on the findings that entrepreneurial leadership strategies are pivotal in resource-constrained settings—leveraging stakeholder engagement, aligning cultural elements with strategic goals, and encouraging innovation—to enhance organizational efficiency, school leaders should encourage entrepreneurial leadership by fostering innovation, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with strategic goals. Finally, the findings indicate that leadership significantly influences school performance by influencing staff behaviours and organisational processes. Inspirational leaders create environments that are conducive to teaching and learning, while adaptive leaders diagnose and address school-specific needs, ensuring sustainable improvements. Leaders should focus on setting a clear vision and inspiring teachers to achieve long-term academic and organizational goals.80enEXPLORING EMERGING LEADERSHIP STRATEGIES IN EDUCATION AND ITS IMPACT ON STAFF PERFORMANCEEXPLORING EMERGING LEADERSHIP STRATEGIES IN EDUCATION AND ITS IMPACT ON STAFF PERFORMANCEThesis
