The translator aims to explore the possible procedures and methods to translate the challenging cultural-bound elements that do not belong to the Arab culture. Additionally, the translation strategies render the stylistic features that are not common in Arabic literary writing as understandable and acceptable as possible to the target Arabic readers will be examined. A novel entitled "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" authored by Mitch Albom was selected to be translated from English into Arabic in order to explore the aforementioned challenges using a framework of Newmark's communicative approach. In conclusion, it can be said that the translator accomplished the goal of the work. The style of the author has been successfully dealt with and some stylistic features were translated through employing methods that assisted to create a target text which shares resemblance to the Arabic literary style of writing.
