To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher used the descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of (186) school principals, then selected by a simple random method. The researcher collected data from the sample members through a questionnaire consisting of (34) statements. After collecting the data, the researcher used the Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences program. (SPSS), and the research reached a set of results, the most notable of which are: The impact of work stress on school principals of the General Administration of Education in the Jazan region is moderate, and the study sample members agree that there are thirty-three work stressors facing school principals of the General Administration of Education in the Jazan region to a moderate degree, the most prominent of which are: The feeling that the implementation of senior decisions is characterized by routine and repetitiveness, and that frequent changes to work procedures lead to confusion among principals in making decisions, and the work tasks of school principals require effective means of communication, There is a feeling of fatigue due to the large amount of administrative work undertaken by principals, and there is also a feeling of frustration that the Education Department does not appreciate the efforts made by principals in the school. The study sample members agree that there is one of the work pressures facing school principals of the General Administration of Education in the Jazan region to a low degree, which is “the feeling of weak social relations between principals and superiors at work.” There were no statistically significant differences in the research variables.70 0
