Chemically, they are two aromatic rings linked by aliphatic three-carbon α,β-unsaturated ketones belonging to the flavonoid family. Chalcones persist significant synthetic transitional applicant, mainly as construction units for the production of several heterocyclic structures such as pyrimidine and pyridine ring systems which are very important classes of compounds owing to their wide-spectrum of biological activities. Molecular modeling is a powerful tool in drug discovery, which has been utilized to design many drug candidates that exhibit biological effect in many diseases by simulation interaction between a small compound and a receptor.19 0
