Item Restricted A critical Review of Interventions to Prevent or Reduce Workplace Violence in Primary Care(Saudi Digital Library, 2025-03-27) ALSHEHRI, Abdulrahman; Verma, ArpanaAbstract Background The Workplace Violence (WPV) is gaining significant concern in healthcare organisations affecting safety, employee health and organisational outputs. Evidently, WPV continues to be witnessed throughout the globe and hence calls for future research into the best practises, policies and directions. Objective This study will be aimed at reviewing existing WPV interventions, comparing the effectiveness of these interventions, and offering suggestions on how policy changes, educations and training sessions, and even the use of virtual reality can help in enhancing the safety of the employees at workplace. Methods This scoping literature review included articles identified from peer-reviewed journals concerning WPV prevention, trauma-informed care practises, and legal inflexibilities or limitations. Findings It reveals that structure interventions needs, VR training, trauma informed polices and improve reporting system must be facilitated into prioritised. Conclusion WPV prevention and control necessitate the use of effective measures, policies, and appropriations, together with constant assessment to protect the health care personnel.24 0
