Abstract

The importance of this research lies in studying the reception which occupied a wide area in the discourse of Al-Jahiz in general, and Al-Jahiz's discourse of writting letters in particular. The reseeach is subdivided into three parts. The first part tackles reception in Al-Jahiz's discourse which ranges from verbal reception in Al-Jahiz's discourse of writing letters. The second part dealt with the type of recption of Al-Jahiz's discourse of writing letters.
