| dc.description | The current study aimed at investigating the level of social responsibility among secondary school students in the province of Al-Ahssa, exploring the nature of the relationship between social responsibility and self-esteem in the study sample, and recognizing the differences in social responsibility among secondary school students according to specialization (science/art) and scholastic level. The study adopted the descriptive approach (comparative-correlative) which is best suited to nature of the present study. To achieve study objectives, the researcher used two valid and reliable instruments: social responsibility scale prepared by Al-Harthy(1995) and self-esteem scale prepared by Al-Dorainy et al(1983) and rationed by Abed (2002). The study sample consisted of (300) students from the secondary stage in the second and third grades(science & art). They were selected randomly from five schools which represent the different education sectors in Al-Ahssa (Hofuf- Mubaraz - Alhajr- Eastern villages- Northern villages).finally, in order to answer the study questions and examine its hypotheses, the researcher used a number of statistical styles: mean, standard deviation, person correlation coefficient and t-test. The results are explained as follows: There is a median degree of social responsibility among the study sample. There is a statistical significant positive relationship between social responsibility and self-esteem among the study sample. There are no significant differences in social differences among study sample according to specialization (science/ art) and scholastic level. | |
| dc.description.abstract | هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة مستوى المسئولية الاجتماعية لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية في محافظة الأحساء، والكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين المسئولية الاجتماعية وتقدير الذات لدى عينة الدراسة، وكذلك معرفة الفروق في المسئولية الاجتماعية لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية وفقاً لكل من متغير التخصص (علمي/ أدبي)، والصف الدراسي. و قد تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي (الارتباطي و المقارن) الملائمته لمنهج الدراسة. ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف قام الباحث بتطبيق مقياس المسئولية الاجتماعية من إعداد الحارثي (١٩٩٥) ومقياس تقدير الذات من إعداد الدريني وآخرون (۱۹۸۳) وتقنين عابد (۲۰۰۲)، وتكونت العينة من (۳۰۰) طالباً من طلاب الصف الثاني والثالث الثانوي بقسميه العلمي والأدبي، تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية من خمس مدارس تمثل القطاعات التعليمية التابعة لإدارة التربية والتعليم في محافظة الأحساء وهي: (الهفوف - المبرز - الهجر - القرى الشرقية - القرى الشمالية. و للإجابة على أسئلة الدراسة و التحقق من فروضها استخدم الباحث عددا من الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة و هي: المتوسط الحسابي و الانحراف المعياري، معامل الارتباط بيرسون و اختبار (ت) و قد أسفرت الدراسة عن النتائج التالية: - وجود درجة متوسطة من المسئولية الاجتماعية لدى عينة الدراسة. وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المسئولية الاجتماعية وتقدير الذات لدى عينة الدراسة. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المسئولية الاجتماعية لدى عينة الدراسة وفقاً لكل من متغير التخصص (علمي / أدبي)، والصف الدراسي. | |
