| dc.description | This study handles the scientific research for Al Uqair Port during the the second period of the Ottoman Rule, which extended for nearly Forty Two years (1288 - 1331H / 1871 – 1913G ), and due to the scarcity of what has been written about this port and its commercial activity and its influence on economic life and civilization in the Provincial of Al Ahsa, and for the desire of the Researcher to highlighting the importance of this port, which began to fading, this desire came to select this subject, and the Researcher will indicate through it the active role played by the port, through the study of the transport network and the activity of traders which increased the activity of the port, and to show the Ottoman organizations which have made for the advancement of the port, which had an impact on the richness of the region and the impact on all political, cultural and economical aspects in Provincial of Al Ahsa, and show the role of the port in cultural exchanges with India and Persia, Basra and other areas. This study will depend on the following sources: Local documents and the documents that hosted by the Ottoman archivesand the British archives. Also the study will depend on the reports prepared by the Ottomans officials as reports of Medhat Pasha and Nadeem Pasha, beside many Manuscripts and Foreign Travelers Books, References and periodicals and Newspapers contemporary for that period such as Al-Zawra Iraqi Newspaper, and Umm-AlQura the Saudi Newspaper. The expected results are: • Showing the role of the commercial port and its impact on economic and Cultural life. • Highlight on the Traders of Al Ahsa and their activity in the Port. • Highlight the importance of the port and its trade relations through the study of navigation ways and Land ways of the Port | |
| dc.description.abstract | تتناول هذه الدراسة بحثاً علمياً لميناء العقير أثناء الحكم العثماني الثاني، والذي امتد قرابة اثنتين وأربعين سنة (١٣٣١ - ١٢٨٨ هـ / ۱۸۷۱ - ۱۹۱۳ م ) ، ولندرة ماكتب عن الميناء ونشاطه التجاري وأثره على الحياة الاقتصادية والحضارية في متصرفية الأحساء، ورغبة من الباحثة في خدمة الميناء الذي بدأ دوره يتلاشى ؛ كان اختيار هذا الموضوع. وتبين من خلال هذه الدراسة دور الميناء الفعال من خلال دراسة شبكة المواصلات ونشاط التجار الذي زاد من نشاط الميناء، وإيضاح التنظيمات العثمانية التي قاموا بها من أجل النهوض بالميناء الذي كان له أثر على ثراء المنطقة والتأثير على جميع النواحي الحضارية والسياسية والاقتصادية في متصرفية الأحساء، وبيان دور الميناء في التواصل الحضاري مع الهند وبلاد فارس والبصرة والمناطق الأخرى. واعتمد البحث على كثير من المصادر، أهمها: الوثائق المحلية، والوثائق التي احتضـــــنهـا الأرشيف العثماني، والأرشيف البريطاني، وسالنامة البصرة، وكذلك التقارير التي أعدها المسؤولون العثمانيون، كتقرير مدحت باشا ونديم بك وغيرهما . كما سوف ترجع الباحثة إلى كتب الرحالة الأجانب، بالإضافة إلى عدد كبير من المراجع والدوريات والجرائد المعاصرة لتلك الحقبة، كجريدة الزوراء العراقية، وأم القرى السعودية، وغيرهما. ومن نتائج هذه الدراسة: - بيان دور الميناء التجاري وأثره على الحياة الحضارية في متصرفية الأحساء. تسليط الضوء على تجار الأحساء ونشاطهم في الميناء. إبراز أهمية الميناء وعلاقاته التجارية من خلال دراسة الطرق الملاحية والبرية له. | |
