dc.description.abstractCarvedilol is one of the commonly used beta blockers , concomitant administration of this medicines with other medicines’ for coronary vascular disease is common , drug interaction could be a problem specially with those inhibits the cytochrome enzymes responsible for its metabolism like statins drugs. Rosuvastatin is a known inhibitor for CYP2C6 in rats that considered as a counterpart of CYP2C9 in humans that responsible for carvedilol metabolism in large extent with other enzymes as CYP2D6. T
