Abstract
Stable software, the capability of software to evolve while preserving its design, is an important software key feature that software engineers strive for to reduce maintenance cost and effort. Classes represent the key components of the Object-Oriented (00) systems; hence, stable 00 classes will contribute to reduce the maintenance and effort cost. In this thesis, we identified factors that affect class stability and used these factors to propose a new suite of metrics that lead to measuring the Object-Oriented classes' stability.
