Background: - Performance Management Systems (PMS) are crucial components of contemporary businesses. These systems are meant to monitor, evaluate, and enhance the performance of people and teams. Indicators of employee performance are measurements that are objective and quantifiable, and they assist businesses in determining the level of success achieved by their people and teams. These indicators can incorporate a wide variety of aspects, such as productivity, quality of work, efficiency, teamwork, communication, and flexibility, amongst others. These metrics are used by PMSs to evaluate employee performance, determine specific areas in need of development, and monitor progress made toward predetermined targets. Purpose: - The purpose of this research is to assess the impact of Performance Management Systems on Employee Performance Indicators in the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia. Research Design and Methodology: – This research project is quantitative and is based on primary data analysis, and the data has been collected by using the online survey method. The data was then analyzed using SPSS and MS Excel, with techniques such as data mining and coding used to transform qualitative data into quantitative data and eliminate outliers. Summary statistics and Cronbach's alpha were employed to summarize and assess the inside consistency of the data, respectively. A multiple linear regression analysis was then performed to examine the relationship between the dependent and explanatory variables. Factor analysis was subsequently used to extract latent factors from the observed variables. Findings: – The Performance Management System has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, motivation, and productivity of employees. Practical Implications: – The Saudi Ministry of Education and other public institutions may benefit from the study. These research findings can help ministry officials and managers enhance performance management systems to boost staff enthusiasm, engagement, and productivity, improving public service delivery. The ministry can improve education outcomes in Saudi Arabia by creating a PMS that motivates and produces a productive staff. Originality/Value – This research work is completely novel, and it is based on the primary data approach conducted in Saudi Arabia to assess the impact of Performance Management Systems on Employee Performance Indicators in the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia. Limitations and Future Research Directions: - This study focused solely on the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia, which limits the generalizability of the findings to other industries or sectors. Future researchers could conduct a comparative analysis of performance management systems across different ministries in Saudi Arabia to shed light on the variations in their impact on employee performance indicators. This would allow for a better understanding of the specific factors that contribute to the effectiveness of these systems.
