Abstract

Eight chitinolytic fungal species belonging to 5 genera (400 colonies /g dry soil) were isolated, from agricultural soil sample located in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, on agar plates containing crude shrimp shell chitin.
