Abstract

This dissertation aims to explore the role of Gulf countries in peacekeeping efforts in the Middle East. The introduction chapter provides a background on the historical and political context of the Middle East and the emergence of Gulf countries as key players in the region's peacekeeping efforts. The chapter outlines the objectives of the study, which include analyzing the extent and effectiveness of Gulf countries' peacekeeping efforts, identifying the factors shaping their approach to peacekeeping, assessing the challenges and opportunities facing them, and providing recommendations for enhancing their role in promoting peace and security in the Middle East. By providing a comprehensive analysis of Gulf countries' peacekeeping efforts, this dissertation aims to contribute to the ongoing debate among policymakers and scholars on the effectiveness of Gulf countries' peacekeeping efforts and their pact on regional stability.
