Obesity and overweight are growing health problems in Saudi Arabia and the treatment includes taking weight loss supplements such as raspberry ketone (RK). Toxicological studies on RK are limited. Therefore, the goal of this study was to investigate the side effects of RK on fertility, reproduction and pregnancy in female rats. Female rats were given RK at three different doses (low -mid–high) daily by gavage for four months. The pregnant females were killed and their organs were weighed.
