The Saudi Arabian (SA) retail and e-commerce market is growing fast, and many companies including the retail companies in New Zealand (NZ), are planning to enter the market. In order to enter into the Saudi Arabian (SA) retail and e-commerce market, the retail companies in NZ need to evaluate and compare the business, cultural and economic environments in both the countries to point out likely scenarios for medium-term change, to 2025 at most, to ensure successful market entry in Saudi Arabia. Hence, this research conducts a background study and literature review to compare the business, cultural and economic environments in both the countries.
