Abstract

This study includes two research models both models have five hypotheses each. All the hypothesis of the study were found to be significant and supported by the previous literature. This chapter concludes the whole research and a summary of the research is provided in this chapter along with discussion, recommendations, contributions, implications and conclusion etc. Moreover the chapter provides the study limitations and future research areas. In the case of this particular study it provides a model based on the contributions from different theories, as targeting the willingness to share personal information, benefits to disclose personal information with regards to privacy policy, government regulations and privacy risk concerns. Moreover the study also brings the trust in equation. Hence it provides a holistic model that contributes towards institutional theory, privacy calculus and other theories related to e-government adoption. The findings of the study indicates the concern of the citizens regarding privacy risk and they are still having lack of trust on e-government due to weak privacy policies and lack of privacy rights in government regulations provided by KSA government. As a result people are reluctant to embrace e-government service. Hence the government need to work over the privacy policies of public websites and also provide the relevant awareness to the citizens so that they might not be the victims of data theft or compromised information privacy 80 issues. The recommendation to the decision maker includes the adoption of proper cyber security plan. Improved privacy policies for coming up the issues like privacy risk concerns. The regulatory framework regarding data privacy rights has to be strengthen so that the trust of the general public can be won. Hence the study is beneficial from the government point of view as were as people get awareness regarding understanding the research.
