dc.description.abstractThe present project aims to remove crystal violet dye from waste water using adsorption technique. Thus, adsorbents were prepared from available syrup date manufacture residue (SDIR). Two residues are used: one from Khalas date (K) and the other is a mixture of dates (M), (Ruzeiz, Shaishee, Ghur and Shahal). The (SDIR) was modified by chemical treatment with formaldehyde to give (MF) and (KF) adsorbents and with calcium chloride to give (MC) and (KC) adsorbents. The characteristic of adsorbents
