dc.description.abstract | This thesis is devoted to study the bending of functionally graded (FG) sandwich plates resting on Pasternak’s foundation. The FG sandwich plates are subjected to transverse mechanical and hygrothermal sinusoidal loads. The present sandwich plate is composed of a homogeneous ceramic core covered by two FG layers. The properties of face layers are graded according to a power law distribution in terms of volume fraction. The present thesis contains three chapters as follows: Chapter one presents t | |
