dc.description.abstract | Unsymmetrically and Symmetrically substituted phthalo-cyanines offer a possibility of improving selectivity and promising enhance of solubility and changing optical properties. Substituents, which enhance the solubility of the phthalocyanines, are employed such as alkyloxy. The most efficient method of synthesis of unsymmetrically and symmetrically substituted phthalocyanines is through condensation of suitable phthalonitriles. | |
