dc.description.abstract | The international business environment in the 21st century has to deal with various challenges. Multinational corporations have strived to penetrate the valuable foreign markets as a survival technique. In this case, there has been an increased competition among the companies. Dominant players in the international business environment have a lot of benefits because they have the ability to lure both developed and developing nations on adopting aggressive strategies. Competition has bred dumping which is the primary issue in business. Dumping sets back the economic conditions and other policies of a country. Governments have been at the forefront at discouraging this behavior by passing various anti-dumping (AD) legislations. This paper is geared towards examining the strategies and impacts of AD laws in the international business environment. The paper will provide an overview of international business and highlight the issues that faces the international economy laws regarding Anti-dumping. Also, this paper will discuss the concept and effects of AD on the international and local economies laws. The AD’s strategies will be highlighted and discussed to examine the approaches taken by the World Trade Organization to tackle the issues and strategies used in dumping markets. Next, the paper will explore and analyze the data regarding the issue of AD. Finally, the paper will suggest the approach to overcome the issue discussed in the paper, and highlight and argue the loopholes and lacks in the current economic laws. | |
