Abstract

Conventional heating and microwave irradiation of ethyl 3-fluorobenzoate with hydrazine hydrate afforded the corresponding acid hydrazide 111. Potassium dithiocarbazate 112 was obtained from the reaction of acod hydrazide 111 with carbon disulfide in basic media and conerted into 4-amino-5-(3 flurophynyl) 2,4 dihydro-3H-1,2,4=triazole-3-thione (113) bt the treatment with hydrazine hydrate.
