Abstract
In the current period characterized by rapid technical progress and global economic interdependence, the importance of intellectual property has emerged as a decisive factor in promoting innovation and driving economic growth. With the increasing complexity of issues such as ownership, infringement, licensing, and contractual issues, there has been an increasing tendency towards alternative procedures for resolving these conflicts. The primary objective of this paper is to investigate the complex interaction between intellectual property law and arbitration, with a particular focus on the distinctive context of Saudi Arabia. This study examines the intersection of the legal and commercial fields by investigating the integration of the principles of Islamic law in the context of arbitration in the field of intellectual property. This study additionally examines the Saudi arbitration law, with a particular focus on its ability to effectively handle the complex nature of intellectual property disputes. This paper examines the complex field of legislation and international agreements that affect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's approach to arbitration in the field of intellectual property. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of arbitration to resolve complex legal disputes quickly and accurately while also investigating barriers to enforcement of arbitration awards. The Saudi context exemplifies the complex relationship between intellectual property and arbitration and its impact on the knowledge-based economy. The primary aim of this study is to make a meaningful contribution to the current academic discourse. In addition, it seeks to provide useful advice to legal practitioners, provide insightful perspectives to policy makers, and assist industries in their efforts to protect intellectual property rights. Given the continuing impact of technological advances on the field of intellectual property, this research underscores the critical importance of arbitration in creating an equitable and innovative global society.
