Experimental investigation was carried out to study the heat transfer characteristics in a quadrangular (with inclined heated target surface) channel cooled by a single array of three different orifice configurations of impinging jets (centered jet, staggered jet and off-set jet). The goal of this investigation was to determine heat transfer characteristics experimentally and thus to extend the understanding of internal jet impingement cooling technique in the leading edge region of gas turbine blade. Moreover, the effects of various outflow orientations, one angle of inclination of target plate, and three feed channel aspect ratios on the heat transfer characteristics (H/d=5, 7 and 9). In this study, the experiments were done for three different jets Reynolds numbers for all the cases (Re=9300, 14400 and 18800).
