An Investigation of Teaching Practices for EFL Deaf Students in Al-Amal Classrooms in Saudi Arabia

Abstract

This study investigated the teaching practices for EFL deaf students in Saudi Arabia from the perspectives of English language teachers and their deaf students alike. A mixed method design was used, whereby quantitative data obtained from questionnaires of 96 teachers and 201 deaf students and qualitative data from the interviews of 17 teachers was collected concurrently.
