dc.description.abstractThe present study focused on studying the production of a biosurfactant (BS) by bacteria isolated from petrochemical wastes (lubricant oil waste). In this respect, twelve (12) bacteria and six (6) fungi were isolated from different localities were screened for potential BS production, emulsification assay technique E24% and oil spreading assay technique were conducted.
