Abstract

The main problems of the desert are scarcity of water, rarity of food and intensity of heat and solar radiation. The present study investigated a trial on histological and physiological characteristics of the kidney of one of the desert rodents, Meriones libycus (family cricetidatae) that never drinks can live for long period on dry grains.
