The mutagen nitrosoguanidine (N.T.G.) was employed to induced mutation in Aspergillus terreus. It was found that an increase in mutagen dose and period of exposure cause a decraese in survival percentage and an increase to a certain extent in the percentage of mutation. Differences of growth among the different strains were also significant indicating that some mutation led to significant change in growth.
