Abstract
This report explores the effectiveness of transformational leadership strategies in enhancing employee productivity within permanent remote work environments. Using a literature review methodology, the study identifies key constructs of transformational leadership—idealised influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualised consideration—as vital to addressing challenges faced in remote settings. Key findings highlight gaps in collaboration, transparency, and personalised support within current remote workplaces, emphasising the importance of digital communication tools, trust-building, and innovative problem-solving. The report provides actionable recommendations for leaders to improve remote work productivity through enhanced e-leadership competencies, transparent communication protocols, and work-life balance initiatives. These findings offer valuable insights for organisational leaders and trainers adapting to the evolving dynamics of remote work.
