Item Restricted THE IMPACT OF VAT REFUND POLICY ON TOURIST SATISFACTION IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA(Saudi Digital Library, 2025) Alraytha, Mudawi; Stephen, ChellakanTourist satisfaction in Saudi Arabia on the VAT refund system is the subject of this study with regard to the ease with which the refund process is affected, the level of awareness of the system and one’s degree of familiarity with its policies and procedures. Employing a sample of 385 tourists who were chosen through quantitative method and analyzed using SPSS, regression findings demonstrate that that a simpler and user-friendly VAT refund experience results in higher tourist spending and an overall higher tourist satisfaction. Retailers and authorities can hugely improve awareness through clear communication, and this improves perceptions of the travel experience.
