Abstract
Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) is one of the important animal feeds in KSA. However, its cultivation in Saudi Arabia has been declining as a result of the national policy to preserve deteriorating ground water reserves. Barley is known for its tolerance to adverse conditions including drought.
