dc.description.abstractIn today's modern era, where digital advancements dominate, e-health is pivotal in ensuring accessible and efficient healthcare services. Amidst this landscape, the significance of secure and reliable systems is paramount. This research introduces a pioneering authentication scheme for e-health systems, utilizing the power of Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). The scheme is meticulously designed to provide elevated security while maintaining an efficient balance between communication and computation costs. Thorough security evaluations involve informal analysis against well-known attacks and formal verification using the AVISPA tool. The scheme's communication efficiency is highlighted, demonstrating economical costs while surpassing specific comparable schemes. Additionally, the computational assessment showcases its efficiency, underpinned by a succinct two-message exchange. This comprehensive solution contributes significantly to e-health authentication, protecting sensitive patient data and system integrity while optimizing operational performance.
