| dc.description | Abstract This study aimed to determine the level of knowledge and use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) practices among teachers and practitioners of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) care in the Jazan region, in addition to exploring the relationship between knowledge and use. The study employed a descriptive correlational approach, utilizing a questionnaire (developed by the researcher) to collect data from a sample of 201 teachers and practitioners of ASD care in the Jazan region. The results showed that the level of knowledge of CBT practices was high, with an overall mean score of 3.61, equivalent to a relative weight of 72.2%. The level of use of CBT practices by teachers and practitioners of ASD care in the Jazan region was moderate, with an overall mean score of 3.39 and a relative weight of 67.8%. The results revealed a strong positive correlation between knowledge level and usage level, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.687, which was statistically significant at the 0.01 level. The findings indicated that teachers and practitioners of autism spectrum disorder's knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) practices significantly predict their use of these practices. This contribution remained statistically significant even after controlling for demographic variables (gender, educational qualification, specialization, and years of experience). The results also showed that knowledge alone explained 47.2% of the variance in usage, while demographic variables accounted for only 1.2%. This suggests that a knowledge-based model is an economical and effective predictor of usage. | |
| dc.description.abstract | الملخص باللغة العربية هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد مستوى معرفة واستخدام ممارسات العلاج المعرفي السلوكي لدى معلمي وممارسي رعاية ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد بمنطقة جازان، إضافة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين متغيري المعرفة والاستخدام. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وطبقت استبانة (من إعداد الباحثة) لجمع البيانات من عينة قوامها (201) فردًا من معلمي وممارسي رعاية ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد بمنطقة جازان. وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى المعرفة بممارسات العلاج المعرفي السلوكي كان (مرتفع) بمتوسط حسابي عام بلغ (3.61)، وهو ما يعادل وزنًا نسبيًا قدره (72.2%). ومستوى استخدام معلمي وممارسي رعاية ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد لممارسات العلاج المعرفي السلوكي مع ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد بمنطقة جازان كان (متوسط) بمتوسط حسابي (3.39) ووزنٍ نسبي (67.8%). وكشفت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباط موجبة وقوية بين مستوى المعرفة ومستوى الاستخدام، حيث بلغ معامل ارتباط بيرسون (0.687)، وكانت هذه القيمة دالة إحصائيًا عند مستوى دلالة (0.01). وأسفرت النتائج عن أن معرفة معلمي وممارسي رعاية ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد بممارسات العلاج المعرفي السلوكي تُسهم إسهامًا كبيرًا في التنبؤ باستخدامهم لهذه الممارسات، ويظل هذا الإسهام دالاً إحصائيًا حتى بعد ضبط أثر المتغيرات الديموغرافية (النوع، المؤهل العلمي، التخصص، سنوات الخبرة). وتكشف النتائج أن المعرفة وحدها تفسر (47.2%) من التباين في الاستخدام، بينما لا تضيف المتغيرات الديموغرافية سوى (1.2%) فقط، هذا يعني أن النموذج الذي يعتمد على المعرفة فقط هو نموذج اقتصادي وفعال للتنبؤ بالاستخدام. | |
