Abstract
The research of Saudi Arabia as one of the key oil suppliers and analysis of its foreign policy in the context of geopolitical threats is the subject of this dissertation. It analyses the background of Saudi Arabian oil production and its effect globally, the consequences of regional crises and domestic struggles. The study also analyses Saudi Arabia's policy towards main oil consumer countries, as well as its partnership inside OPEC. As a result, the research is qualitative in nature; it mainly utilises a literature review technique to assess the nature of the Saudi influence in the international political dynamics of Oil. The results capture the Kingdom's roles in setting the benchmark for world oil prices, the geopolitical stakes of its oil strategy, and the effects of Vision 2030 on the diversification of its economy. The paper provides policy implications for how Saudi Arabia might move away from dependence on oil and proposed avenues for further research on the Kingdom's shifting role in international energy systems. Finally, the dissertation argues that Saudi Arabia continues to play a central function in oil politics; and, adaptation is vital in the changing international energy environment.
