EMPTY CONTAINERS DEPOT LOCATION ALLOCATION

Abstract

This project is focused on facility location problem and will go through the empty container depot location-allocation .the aim of this paper to minimize the cost for establishing a new depot in one of the proposed locations .this problem is continuously investigated as its various sides problematic as its got tactics, operational and strategic levels. The major cost is the opening cost and we are targeting to minimize it through solver tool in the excel. The proposed model here will be examined with parametric analysis for seeing what else possible solutions can be obtained by changing the factual values which affect the performance of lowering the total costs
