Abstract

Toxoplasma.gondii is considered an important risk factor for the development of mental health problems especially schizophrenia, and this is seen through different mechanism like the effect of Toxoplasma on neurons, the effect of Toxoplasma on dopamine levels, and the effect of Toxoplasma on gene expression.
