The primary scope of this thesis encompasses a thorough examination of how AI's integration into data protection and privacy frameworks has affected these areas of law. It seeks to unravel the multifarious dimensions of AI's influence on these areas, ranging from the enhancement of data protection mechanisms to the intricate challenges introduced by AI-driven data processing. At the heart of this study lies a concerted effort to identify legal strategies that can effectively mitigate the challenges arising from AI's utilization while ensuring the preservation of fundamental data protection rights. To achieve these aims, this research engages with a comprehensive review of existing literature and pertinent legal frameworks.
