dc.description.abstractForeign investment is a significant factor in the development of the economy of countries. Interconnectedly, it is challenging to guarantee to gain the confidence of foreign investors to invest in countries that attract investment in the absence of adequate laws. Therefore, the dissertation studies the development of the applied aspect of the new bankruptcy system in Saudi Arabia as one of the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The United Kingdom and the United States method was relied upon to study the moratorium and the role of creditors, which is one of the main obstacles that expose companies to the risk of liquidation.
