The aim of this study is to explore the challenges of home education using technology during the Covid-19 pandemic facing parents of primary school children in Saudi Arabia. This research goal was pursued through the following specific objectives: 1. To identify the most common barriers and challenges facing parents while home schooling their children in primary schools in Saudi Arabia. 2. To evaluate the strategies Saudi parents have used to deal with the challenge they face while using homeschooling technology. 3. To examine the factors that Saudi parents most commonly think are necessary to enable and assist them while using homeschooling technology. 4. To explore the benefits of using technology for home-schooling based on parents’ experiences, and to suggest conceptual strategies to optimize such benefits in Saudi Arabia.
